I'm Amalia, I live in Paris and I'm from Burgundy.
I am a graduate of the School of la Chambre Syndicale de la couture Parisienne in fashion design
and model making.
After several experiences in the studios of ready-to-wear houses (Sonia Rykiel, Isabel Marant, then Celine, from the LVMH group), I created Marguerite et Jorge, a line of luxury dolls, made in France.
In 2015, I made the 24 Sonia Rykiel dolls that adorned the windows of the Parisian department store "Printemps", on the occasion of his 150th birthday.
In 2016, I was the winner of the Barbie Prize, a competition organized by the Musée des Arts Décoratifs de la ville de Paris.
On this occasion, my doll was exposed
6 months within the exhibition.
My satisfaction is to see a child blossom with a quality toy, ethically manufactured according to French know-how, respectful of man and the environment. A toy that looks like him and that he can keep in time, and transmit....
